The University of North Carolina will open its 2010 football season in LSU Tigers in the Atlanta Kickoff Game in 2010. The game will be aired on ABC by country. Tar Heels and LSU Tigers played six times in the past, most recently in 1986. Although LSU has 5-1 advantage over these meetings, this year UNC stands for LSU in the Preliminary AP vote. The Kickoff Game was created by CFA and ESPN in 2008 and always meets the two highest-ranking football teams in a neutral environment.
