Improves your writing by using the five sensations

Sight

This is the only intellect that provides the most detail for our stories. Our words become our readers' eyes and we have an empty canvas for painting an image to tell our story. With a common fear, such as a spider that is quietly silent along the floor, a glimpse of a shadow on the stairs … the sight is the greatest source of horror inspiration and description. If you write something terrifying, there is a tremendous amount of resources available to the writer because we can use our other senses in glorious, in-depth detail to our descriptions. Here is an example that all of our five senses can be used to describe a simple scene:

The apple was light green, its skin glittered and shone as it lay in the fruit bowl (19459009). The smell was fresh as if the fruit was only taken from the tree (19459008) (odor) . He took it from the bowl and closed his fingers with his fingers (touch) as he raised his lips. The apple licked loudly (sound) as his teeth cut through the bony, juicy meat (taste) . As the fresh juice ran his throat, he noticed a small black spot moving slowly in the creamy meat. From the closer examination, it turned out that he not only took a bite from the apple, but in a fat, juicy worm.

Voice

Do you remember when you were little and your parents were embedded in bed? Maybe there was no night light and the TV room was on the other end of the house …

You're lying in your bed. Alone. She was desperately waiting for your eyes to get used to the darkness you hear – soft, scratchy noise – and it seems to be coming under the bed. It only takes a moment before it stops. You wonder if he heard something and was so desperate for the light of darkness that he forgot to blink. Blackness seems to be around you in a thick, black fog, through which no light can penetrate. Suddenly there again, only this time scratching seems closer. And louder. It seems this takes a little longer. So keeps your breath, because darkness does not seem to rise. You have lost your sense of vision, so if you do not breathe, we hope you hear the sound more clearly and identify your location …

The above description relies on a complete lack of vision. There is fear and can play a significant descriptive role – in this case blindness. In order to compensate for the loss of vision, hearing sensation becomes more and more intense, allowing the writer to introduce other horror-inducing thoughts and impressions. Where is the sound coming from? How close are you? Will I feel if you decide to climb the bed? When do my eyes use darkness? Do I start panic now? When I get out of bed, do you jump to the top?

Touch

This sense recalls the description of things, most likely we will never try to touch it like filth, frogs and bare skin. All these items are perfect for the horror / frightening genre, but writers can also make ordinary touching phobias and use these items for terrible effects. Some people can not withstand the velvet, while others are terrified on the touching paper. Yet others find their skin when they meet with cotton fabrics …

Opening the wooden box in the hotel bathroom was frightfully withdrawn. On the bottom of the box, white and glittering, lay quietly, and consisted of cotton balls. he stepped back, collapsing at the side of the bath. The mere thought of feeling these soft fibers frustrated as the ball was pressed onto his skin was enough to start a gourd. He lay his arms in the unconscious effort to protect his body from the fear he had spent all his life. I was just thinking about the cotton balls that her skin slipped. He moaned softly and remembered the silent noise that had escaped when he pressed; a noise that seemed to pass through his skin. She remembered the panic, did she not remember to pack her facial expressions …

Descriptions of this particular intellect can be decorated with physical reactions to detect certain elements; mockery, fear of the source of horror, fear, subconscious defense (body clinging), and whistling of fear (whining). All these reactions add to the imagination of the reader while adding to the image that your words are "painting".

Smell

The odd smells of the terrible / frightening genre usually mean something bad or going wrong. The smell of rotten or burning meat is probably the most common description of this genre, and the odor description can also be used to indicate death. Bad household smells belong to potatoes burning in pots in the stove from two weeks old pizza in the refrigerator. Adjectives include: smelly, smelly, choked, odorless, rank, rotten and harmful.

When the client's hair was done, his sharp smell suddenly hit his nose. It had a smell that he hated and dreaded, because it had a smell that was so terrible that memory had burned to the mind forever. He froze as the sweet odor fills the air, attacking his nose and throat with a malignant taste. A moment later his salon was absorbed and cried out in fright. She turned to the three ladies sitting under the dryers. Mrs Hamilton and Mrs Edgar managed to get out of their dryers, but poor Mrs. Smith could not move. One of the cylinders of the cylinders obviously caught the dryer and ignited her hair. Smoke came out of the top of the machine, which began to spark. He put his hand on his mouth and nose to get rid of the odorless smell that turned to Smith screaming when flames began to blink out of the dryer … "

Most, if not all of us have a dislike of a certain meal, we do not like to eat, and because of their taste we feel sick. Perhaps just mere thought is enough to create terrible thoughts and feelings.

A candlelight glittering light caught the baking pan, put a dark cream glow on the table, lifted the glass door, Cabernet Sauvignon is rich in its musky flavor still over the taste buds. There is obviously something wrong with this new wine bottle because the liquid has a bitter, sour taste in its mouth, although the consistency was the same as the previous glass, it was an acidic flavor, what he could not identify … though he looked vaguely familiar and stirred the fluid from the mouth t before it disappeared. It seemed to stifle his tongue and burn the roof of the mouth, and swallowed the thick liquid when the throats rang. She prevented the urge to cough and reached out to the glass next to the plate and soaked. As the cool water cleansed the taste of her mouth, the housewife picked up the bottle she used to fill her wine … and stuffed it over the salad plate with balsamic vinegar.

Writers have a large number of adjectives describing the terrible taste. These include: spicy, sour, bitter, bitter, unbridled, smelly, rotten, devastating, rancid, rotten, clumsy and bad.

Real life can be more interesting than fiction,. So the next time you sit in front of the keyboard, touch the five senses and see how they can color the words!
