Exposition Park is one of the top five attractions in Los Angeles, where there are several museums, sports grounds and gardens. The museums include the California Science Center, the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum and the California-American Museum of California. The Science Center and the Natural History Museum are both located in historic buildings built in the early 1900s. Sports clubs include the Olympic Stadium, where swimming and diving pools, the Olympic Games and the L.A. The Coliseum and the Los Angeles Sports Arena, which is part of basketball, boxing and other sporting events. The center of science and the museum of natural history visit four million visitors annually.
The California Science Center is part of the Air and Space Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Children's Museum and the Aquarium. Before joining the Los Angeles Science Center, visitors also come across several warranties, including an SR-71 Blackbird frozen in a flight situation. In addition to the entrance to the scientific museum, there is a huge IMAX theater that shows nature, animals, space and many other high-definition films. At the science center, visitors can go around the museum to see space capsules, warbirds, plants, fish, live shows, and more. Everyone in the museum finds practical presentations that help explain the workings of the physics of things. The exhibition of ecosystems includes an ocean aquarium, which is filled with sharks, chickens, rays and other marine animals. The Los Angeles Science Center is the highlight of the Space Shuttle Endeavor, which we introduced in 2012. Visitors will be introduced to the Space Shuttle, images, flight simulators and many other Endeavor museums before entering the hangar, Törekvés. This awesome exhibition ends with a huge souvenir shop filled with NASA and spacecraft. The Los Angeles Science Center is big enough to explore the whole day. The on-site grill and cafe are a source of appetite with special drinks, ice cream and comfort meals. The best part of the Los Angeles Science Center is that it's free at all shows. Only the entry fee for IMAX movies and a small booking fee for Space Shuttle Endeavor.
Los Angeles County Natural History Museum is located next to the California Science Center. The Los Angeles Natural History Museum includes a dinosaur museum, African animals, insects, scientific labs, gems and minerals. Take a stroll in Dinosaur Hallon, under the reconstructed bones of massive dinosaurs. See the meaningful display of wildlife in their natural environment. Look at the incredible instances of gold, diamonds, emeralds and other valuable discoveries. The Museum of Natural History often hosts a practical exhibition on the lawns of the building, including the Butterfly Pavilion and the Spider Pavilion where visitors can touch and grasp the beautiful and creepy insects.
These popular Los Angeles attractions are behind the Exhibition Park Rose Garden. The Rose Garden is the perfect place to relax, while wandering hundreds of kinds of roses and sitting next to the fountain next to the garden and the original museum entrances. On hot days street vendors sometimes sell fresh soaps and ice creams along the fountain. The rose garden was once a riding ground before the Exposition Park had been created.
The Exposition Park is located south of Los Angeles downtown on the 110 motorway. This is a big offense in a city so we do not recommend the public transport or the possibility of starting a park. The parking lot at Figueroa Street is within walking distance of museums. Like all the Los Angeles Museums, Exposition Park is less crowded on weekends, as opposed to weekdays when children's school excursions carry school buses. Make sure you pre-record the IMAX movie as it is often sold. There are several films on the California Science Center website that are currently playing. Space Shuttle Endeavor is another popular attraction where you need to book ahead.
